LeatherMen Cymru is dedicated to providing a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for all members and guests. We celebrate our community through camaraderie, tradition, and shared interests while holding individual dignity as our highest standard.
- Zero Tolerance: Harassment, discrimination, racism, transphobia, biphobia, misogyny, body-shaming, and ableism will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Mutual Respect: Members and guests are expected to treat fellow attendees, venue staff, and performers with kindness and consideration at all official and affiliated gatherings.
Consent, Boundaries & Gear
Kink and fetish attire are core elements of our community expression, but they never constitute an invitation for touch or interaction. A consent-first mindset is essential across all spaces we occupy.
- Ask First: Always ask for explicit verbal consent before touching another person, their clothing, or their gear.
- Respect the “No”: A refusal, hesitation, or revoked consent must be accepted immediately and without negotiation, debate, or guilt.
- Capacity to Consent: Anyone visibly impaired by alcohol or substances cannot give informed consent; interactions must pause if capacity is in doubt.
Privacy & Media
To safeguard the personal and professional lives of our members, we enforce strict expectations around digital privacy and image capture during events.
- No Unauthorized Photography: Capturing photos or video of attendees without their clear, prior permission is strictly forbidden.
- Designated Media: Official event photographers will be clearly identified, and attendees may opt out of promotional coverage at any time by notifying an organizer.
Reporting & Enforcement
We take every concern seriously and prioritize the well-being and safety of anyone affected by unacceptable conduct.
- Speaking with Organizers: If you experience or witness behavior that violates this policy, alert a committee member or venue staff immediately.
- Confidential Handling: All reports will be handled discreetly, sensitively, and with the affected party’s wishes at the forefront.
- Accountability: Breaches of this policy can result in immediate removal from the venue, revocation of membership without refund, and permanent bans from future events.
